USIAV is excited for the future of our local Iraq Afghanistan veterans. We have several plans to assist our veterans. We are working on future projects such as:
- Local Heroes:
- A program designed to promote positive role models for our local school children. USIAV will work closely together with local schools on this special program.
- Volunteer Opportunities:
- USIAV will stay in contact with local organizations in need of volunteer services. Our veterans will have the opportunity to proudly represent USIAV throughout the community.
- Attend Events:
- Social activities are a healthy way to improve one's mental and physical well being.
- Group Activities:
- USIAV believes in promoting camaraderie through group activities such as:
- Hikes
- Sports
- Family events
- Weekend fun runs
- Group competitions in our local community
- and much more...
- Women Veterans:
- There have been more women in today's wars than in the past. USIAV recognizes a need for support for the next generation of women veterans. We will provide local information for these services.
- Student Lounge:
- Study areas for our student veterans.
